I WAS A MALE WAR BRIDE IS HILARIOUS
This post-world war II movie, shot on location in war-torn Europe, is one of Grant's best comedies. And...it is a true story. From using hair from a horse's tail to make a wig so that Grant can pass for a woman, to the three marriage ceremonies Cary and his bride must go through, its comedy (from slapstick to erudite) is a sheer joy. If you can get your teens to watch a black and white movie (not often easy) this is a great one for the entire family.
