This book is a wonderfully written book on dressing dollhouse dolls in one inch scale. Using well written descriptions, beautiful color photos, patterns that you can copy, and placing the dolls in those outfits in scaled settings, it explains vital information on period, cut, cloth, glues and adhesives, sewing techniques, trims and a multitude of topics that a person will discover upon attempting to sew one inch scale doll clothes or dressing one inch scale dolls. I found a variety of patterns that were quite easy to follow, especially since I am all thumbs when it comes to sewing. Showing patterns for male dolls, children, and women, it even covers accessories such as hats, shoes, period correct underclothing, and how to create your own dolls also. I found it highly informative and a necessary resource when dressing my own dolls.
