It is a nice book and there are some step by step illustrations. In my opinion, this is more of an idea book. The designs reflect vintage jewelry from 1910 to 1950.
There are a variety of techniques covered: bead stringing, wire working, fabric with ribbons & feathers.
Designs are primarily necklaces & chokers but there are a couple of purse / pouch designs, as well as 2 pin and 2 earring designs.
If you love vintage jewelry and want to create some, I would recommend borrowing it from the library first to see if this is what you are looking for.
