Achieving excellence in Polymer Clay miniature foods
10 of 16 people found this review helpful.
Loved this book. Angie gives tips on how she achieves the most excellent results with polymer techniques from the complicated caning process to the famed Skinner technique. Though the amount of clay needed to achieve these effects is large, the result is overall worthwhile to the person who loves to sculpt realistic dollhouse miniature foods in one inch scale. Angie gives valuable formulas for mixing the polymer clays to achieve the realistic color, and even textures of fruits, meats, and vegetables. Also valuable is an index on locating the tools and materials used by the artist in the book. A wonderful book that not only makes it enjoyable, but fun for the person who collects or creates their own dollhouse miniatures with polymer clay. A must have for the miniature collector's reference library.
