This story has been around for a very long time. It was something I read, my daughter read and now her son will be reading. The story is timeless and the characters are real! It teaches caring and respect to youngsters. All of this is due to a very special police office and a duck and her ducklings. I have never met a child who did not relate to this story and wish they could be a part of it.

It has all the sounds that children need to get ready to read. The children do not realize they are learning them when reading it.

DucklingsI read this book to my kids for years and never got tired of it. A very cute story of Mom and Dad mallard looking for a nesting spot and all the funny things that happen after the ducklings are hatched.
