The Montreal indie-rock quartet's second album still displays the wide-eyed innocence of their first release, but on tracks like the dreamy opener "Dance With Me" and the poppy "The Truth About Cats and Dogs" their increased confidence is striking. The uncluttered harmonies of "Ships" and the spare instrumentation of the regretful "Only Feelgood" are further indicators of their increased self-assurance, while the moody closer, "Lines Bleed," points to future musical development.
