Major League Baseball 2K6 (Xbox, 2006)

The game has some unike features about it that are hard to explain but I will anyway. 1. It is one of many baseball games to be great but dont get me wrong this game is better than any baseball game out there and thats saying something. 2.The graphics are getting better every year but this year it went so high that it is scary to me. So to all the baseball fans out there stay safe and buy this game if you want to play as some of the great players in the major leauge and I think it has Barry Bonds

My son just bought an xbox and this is one of the games he wanted. We actually buy ALOT of used games from the Game Stop. He has learned we can save a little bit and the games are just as nice. So I decided to take my chances on ebay and he was extremely satisfied with it.

The new physics engine ruins fielding to the point where every little turn on the field takes an eternity. presentation is below average not to mention the endless glitches such as freezing in the middle of game etc....

Transaction was smooth as silk and my son loves the game. Baseball really can translate well on to the video gaming screen. This was simply a wonderful transaction.

The game works well, but no it did not come with a book. So I have to learn the controls on my own. The owner said he would send me a book if I needed, but he never did.

The X Box 360 is outstanding. I would have rated it Excellent but after just 3 weeks my wireless controller is malfunctioning. I bought a second controller so the "bad" one was only used alternately. Glad I bought the extended warranty.

One of the best MLB games ever! Great new features! Batting, Pitching and Fielding have been enhanced for ultimate realism. The scouting feature is awesome. A must have!

I got the game and the box was cracked. I tried playing it and somethings did not work right. It turned out to be my controller but the game was fine. In light of this I emailed the seller b4 I found the controller problem they immediately offered another game to me. Thanks.

ANOTHER GOOD GAME FROM 2K SPORTS. THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS THIS FROM GETTING AN EXCELLENT GRADE IS THE MANY BUTTONS IT TAKES TO PLAY THE GAME. IT IS HARD ENOUGHT TO HIT THE BALL BUT WHEN YOU TRY TO HIT AND RUN,STEAL BASES,OR TRY ANY STRATEGY AT ALL IT CAN BE CONFUSING. IT HAS GREAT GRAPHICS AND GAMEPLAY. JUST TOO MANY BUTTONS WITH TOO MANY OPTIONS.

I was quite pleasently suprised by this game. Maybe I just haven't played enough games to know but previous baseball games I have played have had two difficulties - too hard or too easy. With 2K6 you are offered an option to customize the difficulty. This allows you to make it harder as you get better. I also like the ability to choose to have the cutoff guy let the ball go through or not. In addition, the tighter the spot a pitcher is in the more nervous he gets and the game accommodates for this by making the pitch location harder. These make the game more realistic for me.

The graphics are good, though the players tend to run a little funny sometimes. I have also found the defense a little frustrating at times. You will think you are sitting underneath a fly ball but it will occasionally drop right in front of you. It can also be difficult to know immediately which fielder you are which can lead to you moving in the wrong direction.

Overall the game has been a hit in my opinion.

Even though this title has moved away from the ESPN Sports version like in 2K5, the title is still a very good game. The gameplay is slightly different as one would expect, but the new swing stick and controls are spectacular and make the game fun fun fun to play. If you're looking for great ESPN presentation I suggest buying 2K5, but either game is guarenteed to make you heppy.

I bought the game for my boyfriend. He says the game is great game play wise and graphic wise the only draw back is from time to time the game locks up and this gets aggravating.

I loved the game play and AI. It is awsome. Its also great how the game developers captured the detail of each stadium.
