Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo

Left feedback to soon. Machine has a short in it. Seller doesn't answer my emails. Be careful when buying from this seller.

WE WERE VERY DISAPOINTED AS WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT THESE ITEMS WERE USED OR REBERNISHED WE THOUGHT THEY WE NEW SINCE WE COULD HAVE BOUGHT NEW ONES UPTOWN FOR THE SAME PRICE

I bought this because I had one before, I like it,
This one, the DVD does not record when set on timer set.
I talk to the seller, he was will to refund my money, but I paid 14.99 for this and paid $19 in shipping! Not worth my time or money to ship this back to him and lose about $5.oo just to get 14.99 back, seller was willing to ship me another vcr DVD recorder, but I was only willing to ship the other one back only if the replacement was in working order. Well he never did get back to me. I would never do business with him again. Let alone pay for something that cost less then the shipping does! I am not happy about this at all!

First dvd recorder I've owned.Very easy to learn to operate. Easy instructions. Am considering another one just like it.

I bout this for the use at my Church and paid for it through Pay Pal but the seller returned my fund stating that he was having a problem with Pay Pal.
So being he was having a problem with pay Pal and that is the only way I will buy anything on Ebay and he would never respond to my emails thru Ebay I just forgot the whole thing. This is the first thing that I have received about that item since my last email sent in to the seller. Richard

I have the same unit that also needs fixed, but no one ever show's a pic of the whole back of the unit. having the same unit i would expect that it has the RF modulator built right into the pc board of the unit but no seller ever mention's that because sometimes on rebuilt units tit is taken out. I have a older tv set that has one 'screw or push into the TV in from cable and on mine it has the rf mod built in and I take the TV cable and screw it into the 'in' on the rf mod and have a short cable that screw's into the urf mod out to the TV. that way I can watch my old video's and also burn them to dvd- on the unit while watching the process take place on my TV. without buying a external rf mod unit. I'd like to see these guys put up picture's of the entire back on these unit's. My unit worked very well until latly when it started to eat my old videotape's. make sure you ask these seller's to send you or post a picture of the entire bak of the unit. ANN

What I like is the price the same dvd recorder in the stores is over $150...
I got it for half that and it does everything I want it to.

The only drawbacks are the counter does not keep track of the tape it skips , this could be my tapes but I dont think so.

The DVD side works without any glitches.

Also sometimes the remote wont change the channel unless I turn the unit of and reboot then it changes fine.
Minor trouble for the price I paid.

I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD RECORD DVD FROM THE VHS TAPE AND IT DOES NOT. CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO NO AVAIL....NAT NKROHN7@AOL.COM

Unit died within 3 weeks of set up. Unit CAN NOT copy from VHS to DVD IF copy-protected. Only home vhs can be copied. Tuner was ok.

we are pretty happy with this DVD player. Only pretty complicated with recording. weve tried to record something 2-3 times and each time we are unable to play back disks. might be a simple error, however not easy to see what were doing wrong.
But with playing ordenary dvd's great quality and great menu accessability

Havent gotten it yet, but seller took the time to explain differences in products andwhich was right for mye. AND didnt try to sell me the most expensive. Very honest, will be back for my next electronic purchase!

We bought the Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder/VCR Combo from Walmart just a little over a year ago. The warranty was for one year on parts and labor. The unit no longer works at all. The power button will turn the unit on, but the system then turns off within 10 seconds. My wife was never successful recording live TV shows onto a DVD and the instructions were not helpful. Although we have other DVD/VCR units, this one was extremely difficult to use. She used the unit primarily to watch videotapes. It will go into the trash tomorrow.

I decided to purchase this item for a few reasons 1 because of the Price. 2 because of the Magnavox brand name & quality,this was the perfect match for my Magnavox 51" HDTV. 3 because can record on all of today's common media formats. 4 because of its color . This is an excellent unit and a Highly recommened buy. I'm very pleased with my Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo .

VERY BAD SELLER!!!
The seller failed to mention that there was no remote control with the DVD. It was one of those DVD's players that would not work without it. I ask him in advance if everything worked and he said yes. Well, almost nothing worked without the remote. I threw the item in the trash. Oh, and by the way, he still sends emails. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL SELLER!

We love this DVD Recorder because we can now record all of our old VHS Movies on a DVD. We can also set it up to record our favorite shows. Its a great purchase

Just got the item recently. Seems to work very well. Has quite a few fetures. Does a good job. Very happy for price I paid on Ebay
