good price and features. I would recommend this item to anyone considering it.

Base not removeable and not wall mountable. DVD very easy to use for older people (got for "In Laws"). Picture is a "B+", and reception is a "B". The screen stretch is not very good; it can't zoom in on the picture and leaves a verically stretched 4:3 picture if not 16:9.

Overall, a refurb is a bargain for $350. incl'g a 2 yr ext'd warranty from Square Trade. Square Trade covers it for 2 yrs after the first 90 days. The mfg'r covers the first 90 days. At Circuit City is $479. plus tax and a warranty for a total of about $535. with a 3 yr warranty.

My reason for this message is first of all the tv that i purchased was advertised 2 me as philips being the name barnd and i recieved a MAGNAVOX.Second of all it was advertised as "New" and it's not a brand new t.v. Its very obvious that refurbished. Honestly that sounds like false advertising to me.It also didnt arrive in proper packaging. In other words it looked like someone just got done fixing this T.V, put it in any box and shipped it to my house. I wanted you to be aware of this because this isn'nt right nor fair.

Good picture - the DVD player does not work - that was stated up front.
Good external appearance with remote control. No operating manual was included.

when i got the tv it was in perfect condition and worked like a charm. i was also impressed on how many features it had but was disappointed on how the dvd player didn't work but besides that it was perfect

I needed a 17-22 inch TV/DVD combo unit and have been looking for them in the store for quite a while. Then on EBay. I know that whatever one wants to buy it can be found on EBay for less. I came upon this Phillips unit that fit my needs and called Phillips to find out how much a remote costs as it did not come with the combo. After all was said and done, TV is very good, easy to use and suits our purposes well and with the brand new remote total cost was only about 2/3 the cost of a new one and this is almost new. Works fine and is portable as I take to trade shows and move around all the time.

I purchased this product 6 weeks ago. My goal was to be economical, while becoming digital compliant. This product has been a delight. Setup instructions were excellent, in their included instruction book. Daily performance has been faultless. I am delighted with this purchase.

She uses it while she is doing her book work and when she is on the internet.
It is compact and does not take up much room.

It was also a good price and work real good.

Really like the TV. Was the right price. Did have to get a different remote control though - one that would have come with the original packaging. No controls for managing the picture or volume on the TV - everything is done with the remote. But otherwise - just great. Was buying it to replace a TV in our kitchen.

I like the size of the unit, clarity of the screen, and sound of the system. Changing the program format or device inputs and channels and volume is simple. I love the ease of use with the DVD player...that is why I bought it. I gave this set to my niece as a gift and she can run it totally herself and that is what is best. I have not experienced any issues with the set, but will keep a close eye on it just in case something does go wrong.

I love this product per se but it came with a remote that did not
conform,so I ended up buying another remote,costing about $40 more
So I ended up with the sh... end of the stick.

This tv was purchased as a bedroom tv for my mother. What a great buy! Clear, crisp picture and a base with a dvd player. Perfect for her room. I bought it for the price (of course!) I am currently considering purchasing another of the exact same model for my children's room.

We are really enjoying this new TV/DVD combo. It arrived a day earlier than expected in great shape. I shopped around and found this was a great price for a great product.

Great picture! Crisp, clear and the sound is decent as well. The remote didn't work, even with fresh batteries; don't know if this is an indemic problem or just an issue with my unit. Replaced with a generic that seems to work OK. The DVD player hiccuped a couple of times, but after running a lens cleaner it seems to fine now, too.

All in all, a compact, good looking, decent performing item that was well worth what I spent on it.

I have had this tv for about a month now and I am very pleased.
It has a very sharp picture {720P}and I have had no problems.
I bought it because it has a front load DVD which works very well in My Motor Home for which I use it in.

tv works good dvd player doesn't work hardly at all did feel like wasting my time returning it and going with out tv
