It's like Animal Crossing and Harry Potter had a baby!

If you like "sim" games like Animal Crossing, you will love this game. It plays like Animal Crossing. You can fish, catch bugs, breed flowers, furnish your room; just like in Animal Crossing...but there is SOOOOO much more to do in Magician's Quest!
You can attend classes at the Magic School and learn incantations and spells that you can cast on yourself and others! You can solve mysteries that plague the town and, unlike Animal Crossing: Wild World, there are so many yearly events (at least one a month!) that there is always something to do!
While Animal Crossing shines in some aspects (you can't go crazy designing clothes in Magician's Quest, you can only hold two designs at any one time) and you can't "wallpaper" your town with designs, either. Another downside to Magician's Quest is the fact that everyone has the same town layout, it is not randomly generated. But even taking the negative into account, Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times is still an awesome game! Sure it looks like it is meant for children, the box art almost made me not buy it; but as my wife told me,"if you don't like the game, you can always sell it on eBay!"
PS: I did NOT sell it on eBay!
