Great, easy read, don't mind religious undertones
I got the book b/c my parents have the original box set of the Chronicles of Narnia, but they were missing this book. I found it for really cheap and in great condition on eBay. I read the books in the order that C.S. Lewis wrote them, so that The Magician's Nephew is book 6 not book 1. So, this answered a lot of questions about the creation of Narnia. In this book and The Last Battle (book 7), I'm definately seeing the religious undertones. I'm pretty daft when it comes to literary meanings but this one was pretty apparent. I suggest reading not only this book, but the whole series.
