The Magic School Bus Collection (DVD, 2003)

The three disc set has "Creepy, crawly fun" "Holidays" and "Magic School bus in Space" each with three episodes, no additional material. On Amazon it was less expensive to buy these individually but worth the price on Ebay. My 4 year old loves them!

I have often watched the Magic School Bus videos with my 5 year old daughter, she is very bright, and follows them closely, remembering the facts presented and mentioning them later.
My eldest daughter is a 1st grade teacher, and she uses these same videos in her class, as the subject matter is presented in a fun, very enjoyable way so children enjoy them and will give full attention to them. I really appreciate the question and answer period simulated at the end of each episode. As a parent who has home-schooled over the years, I really see the value of these videos, you are able to choose the subject that follows the unit your child is going through. Lily Tomlin is the voice of the teacher, and there are often guest voices for your enjoyment.
You will not mind your child requesting these videos repeatedly, and you will be delighted with the amount of information they retain.
