  Happiness Favors the Goal Setter
Review created: 12/17/09

I already had a copy of this book, which I had read from cover to cover. I found it to be an excellent book about the sub ject of "goal-setting". I purchased this additional copy to use as a gift to another person to whom I might try to persuade to write and pursue specific goals for their life rather than leaving the occurrences in their life to fickle chance or fate.

The Magic Lamp: Goal Setting for People...
Review created: 06/25/09
by:

I learned of this book on a website. This book is as described to me. The magic lamp is an acronym for setting goals and it does a wonderful job of attaching meaningto each letter of the acronym that I can relate to. Lamp stands for lock on, act , manage your progress and persist.

Up until now I've hated setting goals. It was as though I am setting myself up for failure. I've conidered myself a problem solver and reasoned that others should do the goal setting and I'll solve the problems. Now I believe that I am gaining control and understanding for the first time the power of setting goals. I can itegrate that with my problem solving skills and become more productive.

The individual who recommended this book was spot on. It is a valuable book to own and share.
