Magic Cancer Bullet by Daniel Vasella, Robert Slater (2003, Hardcover)

This was a great book that I bought when my Dad was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). It's a book about the development of Gleevec, one of the most successful cancer drugs to date and which is used to treat CML. It's a very interesting book and sheds light on what is involved in actually developing a drug and bringing it to market. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the prescription drug industry or for those who have CML and their families and/or friends.
