Magellan Triton 400 Handheld GPS Receiver

I made this purchase based on the company literature and hype provided on this machine on the web.I expected an easy to use hand held GPS with a short learning curve. This unit is not simple to use nor user friendly for a novice user. I have an earlier unit that works far more intuitively but had a steep learning curve. If you are looking for an easy to use, right out of the box unit this is not it. I have had it for a little over a week, read all of the literature, spent several hours in the field and I still cannot get the results I expected. I do like the unit size ,if that matters at all. I wish I had done far more research before making this purchase, I am sure there are better choices especially given the simplicity in use of car systems these days.
