Magellan Maestro 3200 Car GPS Receiver

- :It always ask you for the city before letting you enter the address; which cuts more time off my hands during work , if really need to go to another city, i know how to punch it in. I don't like to be asked everytime. my previous gps (maxx xplorer) stood with the same city as i work.

- :No Stylus (Pen) which im more use to.

- :coil spring wire just to add more irritation interference in my way between lighter outlet and mirror when i drive.

+ :A well decent useful enough to be satisfied GPS for the deal.

+ :I like how screen stays blue/beige throughout day, black/grayish throught night.

+ :Fast enough, good quality, I like its small portable size and the mount.

the price was great it works great i would buy again for a gift if possible the only down side is you cant update it for new roads streets etc but since most of the places i travel to this is fine for me

The unit is basic and will get you to the location I am sure. Although it will take you out of the way to get there. While driving to a normal destination for myself the unit suggests silly routes rather than main roads. I have tried all the settings and still the same results.

Very easy to use , and very accurate. It sure helps me get around. it's very clear both day and night and gives details of everything..I like it alot..

i just bought this gps last week ,its a good basic gps ,its realy cheap in ebay ,has good routing and signal its fast , it doesnt have that much option like garmin and stuff ,just has 1.3 milion points of interst so it just show you 15 or more places in every catogry wich is not that bad, i just like it ,its good gps for its price its dependble ...

Simple to use and very accurate. The price from this buyer was a GREAT DEAL.
I bought the GPS SYSTEM and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this. The battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 3 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system is a little hard getting use to. Might be my age as I am not to literate with new fangeled things of this nature. But if I can use it and make it work, I would think anyone could.

This is my first GPS but what can I say? I am sold. This thing helped me through Louisiana, Texas, and even worked at 36,000 feet @ 486 miles an hour on the plane. It's "fastest route" isn't always the fastest if you know the back roads; however, it definitely works. It had me take some seriously unknown roads through some not so wonderful neighborhoods; however, it truly was the "shortest route". I believe all that can be updated electronically on this thing are the maps. Not bad for the price. The battery works well when detached. My only complaint is that the vehicle I have doesn't have a power outlet close to where I would prefer the unit to be mounted. Oh well, that is a small issue I will have to live with regardless of the GPS I use. I give it 5 stars.

I love my new gps. It has everything that i want from going to california to florida. Also it recalculates faster than any GPS that i ever had. Very very nice would recommend it to anyone!!

I am a field inspector for a pest control company, and use the Magellan to guide me all over North Carolina. The Magellan GPS takes me from one place to the next with almost pinpoint accuracy. I couldn't do my job right without it.

We purchased this unit used and got it for a suprizingly great price. The directions are accurate and clear. Warnings on upcoming turns are at a good distance.

It can re-route and exclude turns to re-route around them. For example, one of our main roads is under construction. I can click the map and re-route around that street.

Since I got it used I did not get any directions with the unit. It is intuitive enough that I don't feel like I need them.

The unit runs a mini version of windows as the operating system - Windows CE. The same you will see on a lot of the Smart Phones. The only irritating thing that happens is the Start bar of windows CE OS is not hidden sometimes and the top of the bar covers a few rows of pixels. This can block a bit of the numbers telling you the distance to the next turn. It is easy enough to go to the Start/Task bar settings and turn the Auto Hide on like you do in windows.
