I like having this in my collection. Very Good quality in taste of movies to place on the cd. If you want to have a good time and see some real entertainment this is it.

Mae West was before her time. This DVD gives you five movies to see the diversity and ability of this great actress. These movies have been restored to bring about the feelings from when they were first played. Anybody wanting to buy one package to enjoy the variety and style this lady recorded needs to get this one. It's a two disk set so you are getting your money's worth. They didn't mess with it by colorizing or anything, just removed the aging effects.

Hooray for this collection of Mae West. Oh those one line quipps that has double meaning. And so ahead of her time. Definetly a strong willed woman who wouldnt let censors stop her. A must

I was interested in Mae West from renting "She done him wrong", now after watching these movies I am Hooked on Mae West ! She is stylized, flawless beauty with a confidence never equaled :: women and girls of this age should take a lesson . The ultimate costuming : beaded , sequined , slinky , ruffled , Fox Furred , wow-wow ! Her complete wit and confidence is awesome to behold on the screen. She Has All the best lines , then you see the credits - no wonder , She wrote the screenplays !!! Genious ! These films let you escape our messy , overweight , fast food , depressing news, war torn world and glimpse paradise , Hollywood style for the hours you watch Mae West do her thing !in these pristine black and white movies from the 30's we see flawless glamour and beautifull ,witty stories before the tragedy ,suffering, and sacrifice of the WWII.It is truly a magic era we see here !Don't miss these movies!

I think Mae West is awesome and any thing she does good or bad is funny, her clothes, maner funny, way before her time.

Mae West is one of the best actresses of her time, in my opinion. This DVD set is a wonderful addition to anyone's Mae West collection. She worked so hard, and loved her work more than most people have ever since. Even in her last years, she worked so hard to always be the Mae West everyone knew - and I admire her for that. I believe she knew she was aging, but she did not want to disappoint her fans, and for that, she earned a special place in my heart (not that she didn't already have that place before i learned this). This set of movies will forever be cherished in my VHS/DVD collection. Anyone that is a fan of Mae West, or even simply "older movies," will not be disappointed with this set. It's obvious why I decided it belonged in my collection. The only "off" thing I can think of is, perhaps someone may find Mae's voice a bit annoying. I do not, however, but it is a real possibility. Other than that, if you know what to expect from her, and you appreciate her works and talents, add this to your collection.

This boxset is not designed the greatest. Poorly organized. Even the cover isn't the greatest. The sound is a bit fuzzy which I didn't expect because it is in DVD format. Trailers are included in.

It was a gift for someone and they really like it. They watch it over and over again. I also think that it was a very good price and would be interested in buying some more movies just different ones.

Her style, her wit; her ways...brought humor and intelligence in a time when truly it was needed and especially for women. She was a woman for all time. She proved "sexy" is alot more than looks. Thanks Mae!!

Mae West was WAY before her time. Her perfect comic timing and the execution of her jokes are on point. A must have for everyone.

Five fabulous Mae West movies! If you have never seen Mae West, you should see her at the top of her game and that you will in this collection. Mae co-stars with such luminary as George Raft, Cary Grant, Randolph Scott, Victor McLachlan and, of course W. C. Fields and, great as the performances of these stars are, Mae has no trouble topping them. Her dialogue, which she wrote, is devastatingly funny and delivered as only she can. My favourite in this collection is 'I'm No Angel" - but you pick yours. Each and every movie is a gem in its own right. Do yourself a favor, buy 'Mae West - the Glamour Collection' - you won't be sorry.
