This is a very good read
I liked the way it was written, you do not get confused in the timetable, and it is very informative as to what we, the public didn't know about Mae West. There wasn't anything I didn't like about this book. What I fail to understand, is the social outcry about this performer and why if everyone else was allowed to get away with social stereotypes in there acts, why she was the one pick out and constantly harrassed for her ability to do the same. I wished there was more truth given than heresy in these books written about her because you only get what somehow the writer only wants you to know. I beleive there was more to write in the intimate part of her life then they lead on to. I have my 4th book coming soon and than I plan to read her autobiography so that can judge accordingly to all aspects in others eyes, as well as her own. Thank you for letting me speak my mind on a very special person such as Mae West.
