Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish by Andy Warhol, Margarita Madrigal (1989, Paperback, Reissue)

I am taking a Spanish class and this book was suggested. I am using it all the time and it is helping. It is more informative than other books I have used. I would suggest this book to anyone trying to learn the Spanish language.

This is a great book to get right into understanding Spanish. With each chapter you finish - you have a few different phrases to brag about. It is different from the traditional way of learning. It shows you how words you already know can be translated into spanish. I highly recommend this book. I had tried several different books with no results, and someone recommended I try this one. I'm very glad I did.

Having studied Spanish in high school,self teach books, computer program and tutoring from a native speaker, I was ready to give up. My dream is to visit Mexico some day and I want to be able to speak well. Seeing for myself all the words I already know that are the same was wonderful. The wrighting exersizes are a great help and what a relief it was to get out of the present tense! You still have to work but it is no burden. Like the lady once said, "Wright it down, make it happen" I fell like this book is the peice of the puzzle that has been missing for me.

Madrigal and Warhol's magic key to spanish book is a great way to learn to read and write spanish as it covers all aspects of grammar and pronunciation. If one wanted to learn to speak spanish this book would work but I have invested in an audio program and use Madrigal's book for understanding grammar and just how the spanish language looks written. Madrigal and Warhol's book seems to be one of the best tools for learning spanish even though the book is not a new book in content. The art work by Andy Warhol is splendid and combined with Madrigal's teachings brings forth a very delightful and knowledgeable oriented book on learning spanish. I bought this book because I wanted to learn, along with speaking spanish, to read and write spanish. This book by Madrigal and Warhol offers me education in understanding spanish so that it is easy to acknowledge. Madrigal and Warhol's book is a must for every person's library who wants to learn spanish or just use the book as a reference to refer to when in need of grammar or pronunciation of words. Madrigal's and Warhol's magical key to spanish is a very fine and useable spanish learning book.

This is the most user friendly method of learning Spanish I have tried. It begins with teaching past tense which is more in line with our usual conversation,and it does not belabor you with a lot of conjugation, etc. It shows how many words are similar to English so that we find we already have a lot of vocabulary to begin with.

If you need a refresher on Spanish, or need to learn the basics-this is the book..You dont have to learn how to conjugate verbs first! This book teaches you how to speak from the words you already have in your english vocabulary!

This book is highly helpful for aspiring Spanish speakers. A must have for all Spanish learners. What I liked most about it was that it contained a lot of applicable lessons. However, the thing I disliked was its length - it would scare off many Spanish learners. Still, once one gets past this roadblock, the road should be free of any other obstacles.
