In 2000, Day independently released his self-financed debut, Australia. Impressed by the 30,000 albums he sold simply by word of mouth, Epic Records signed Day and began distributing the album. A year later Australia has sold over 100,000 copies. In addition, Day released the Madrigals EP, a collection of live tracks and demos that were produced in Howie's living room.
My brother introduced me to Howie Day over a year ago. He showed me the DVD of Howie playing "Ghost" in his living room and I was addicted.
If you have not seen this video or heard Howie play your truly missing out. I am a very ecleptic listener but have a soft place for this album. All the songs are phenominal and if for nothing else I would have paid retail for the DVD of him playing the "Ghost" song.
You honestly cant go wrong buying this CD/DVD!

The Howie day madrigals dvd and cd here is really somthin rare, in the same style as john mayer and dave matthews he takes acoustic music to a whole new level showing his skill as a one man band that sounds incredible I highly reccomend this to anyone looking for somthing good to listen to.

Howie Day - Madrigals CD
) Howie Day is an amazing singer/songwriter. Madrigals is a very well written cd which is a good sample of his many talents. I own all of Howie's cd's and never get tried of listening to them.
