The REAL Stones!

I bought this CD for a couple of reasons. I play guitar and love the sound of Keith Richars and Ronnie Woods on these songs....especially Brown Sugar (open G)as well as Dance Little Sister, etc. Hard pounding stuff!!! These are the early Stones songs I grew up with. Yeah, I'm a geezer "49"years young~! This CD crosses the hard bad boy sounds the Stones are noted for and also shows their versatile ballad side (I.e. Angie). Not a bad song on the CD. You can buy a more extensive Stones Hits CD, but this CD marks what set the Stones as the Bad Rockers out of the UK. I am a big Beatles fan but in all honesty the Stones outrocked the Beatles. However, it is time for Mick, Keith and McCartney to all walk off stage now. Nothing left to prove and 60+ year old rockers look silly!

rolling stones made in the shade cdthe songs are excellent, the order in which they are listed make it sound like a studio album, instead of a greatest hits collection. the cover is the coolest the stones ever released, a great vacation or road trip cd.
