This madden is definitely above the rest. The motion, tackling and computer a.i. are off the charts good. Pat White is fun to play with as well as the recent update with the dog killing vick.Some things I have personally not liked are these: On online franchise mode, you can't edit players from say lolb to a de or such. Also, there is no salary cap from what I can see and you can't practice with your team or even export the roster. The ratings on some players that I feel are decent in the league to average are set at like a 60 overall. My biggest hate of the game comes from Microsoft/Madden in which you can PURCHASE cheats and things like that to make your players better...Talk about a scam. All in all though, I'm glad that the online franchise mode is back, rookie ratings aren't overly high, and the game in my opinion has taken a step forward...but still has a ways to go. I still love the madden franchises though and will continue to purchase them.

Most Madden games have a tendency to be milked from year to year, but the newest release of Madden 10 was a total eye opener to the Football/Sports Gaming community. This games has so much to give to the gamer off and online, from good detailed franchises to even creating a player. What shocked me most was that they brought back "Create a Team" which I haven't seen within the Madden games since 2005? So this is a big bonus!

One thing I noticed about Online play was how neatly organised the lobbies were and how easy it was to find a match up with a person with your skill level. Besides for the 1v1 action for Online play, they provide you with a cool new feature called "online franchise" which is a very neat thing to bring into the online play since a lot of serious players are just "too" good for the computer so they can test their abilities against real life players trying to do the same.


Overall, this game is flawless and is a must buy if you like football!

the new gang tackling system really adds to the realism.

I don't like that they make you pay for "accelerators" which are basically cheats that used to be earned through madden cards. Also, if you plan on creating more than a handful of players you are SOL. The limit is about 11. (4 if you update the roster).

Wish you could turn off the half-time show thing because even if you try to skip through it, you have to push 'a' like 5 times and wait for the stupid transition animation to finish each time. but now I'm just nitpicking.

Superstar mode lacks the depth of previous years. (no silly little movie deals and texts from your mentor, which i kinda liked)

The bottom line is it's all about football, and Madden 10 delivers.
Excellent graphics, excellent game play.
Definitely worth the purchase.

The game is fair, however, is geared more toward young boys and teenagers. This game isn't near as good as the older PC versions that gave you much better control and MUCH better graphics even if you had a Mid-Range computer. EA Sports misses the boat again in my opinion by delivering only a fair game targeted specifically to young arcade style gamers and leaving out the PC crowd and older, more sophisticated, players. I truly feel EA, the company, has been delivering sub par releases for the past few years and they don't impress me at all. Perhaps the lack of competition is one of the reasons? Don't buy this game new...wait until someone gets bored, which they will, and sells it for a reduced price. I believe the game should have been priced at the $29.99 range since it's mediocre at best. It's definitely NOT worth $59.99....Not even close!

This has to be the most overrated Madden game to come out in years. The controls are much better then in previous years but thats about all that has improved. In franchise mode, if you've played any past Madden or NBA live game you've played this franchise mode. Nothing spectacular at all, infact I was really disappointed. The extra point show, is something I could have put togethere myself just by looking at the stats. Superstar mode is probably the worst it has ever been. The create a player option is much improved but I honestly, am not impressed with the graphics of this game. There are some that are unproportional and look just plain silly. The background of this game is way to cluttered and so is the opening screen of franchise mode. Not a clean design at all. I made a vow that I wouldnt buy another EA sports game until they started making PC games again, after borrowing this game from a friend for a while, looks like I am going to be sticking with it, especially if this crap is what they call a great product.

I am extremely happy with this item. My son has been enjoying it since he received it for Christmas. The transaction was smooth with great communication and quick shipping in time for the holidays. Would gladly order from seller again in the future.

Great Game! fun in any aspect! The multi player is fun and always has roster updates on xbox live. IF you are a football fan i recommend this to you!

Did not know much about game bought bought as a gift but think it was in good condition and arrived in short time

I purchased the Madden 10 for my son for Christmas. The game did not work. All Sales are Final. It also took much longer to receive the item which did not show up until the day after Christmas.

Bought it for my son for christmas. Don't know how it works yet. Was real upset with how they handled transaction thought. Went away for my birthday forget about bidding on it. I guess losing so many bid wars for this item. When I got back and got on the computer they had turned me into ebay. It was just 5 days. They never once contacted me.
