Madden NFL 09 (Xbox 360, 2008)

I stayed up until midnight to get this game as I am a big Madden fan. And I'm not dissapointed by this decision, as it is a great game.

There are a few changes in this new version of Madden. One big one is the ES Sports back-track, which comes up after a play that you throw an interception or an incomplete pass. It will show you what you did wrong, and what you should have done.

Another change that I'm not very fond of is the REWIND feature. This makes it so that if you do something wrong, you can press "X" after the play and do the play all over again. Before the game you can decide if you want 0, 1, 3, 5, or Unlimited rewinds.

There are many unique and fun touchdown celebrations that you can do by pressing "Y" and "B" in the endzone after you score.

Other than that, there aren't many changes, and its just going to be another great Madden game (you can't go wrong with Madden).

The change from Madden 07 to Madden 08 was a much bigger change than the one from Madden 08 to madden 09. Still, Madden 09 is a great game.

And for all you achievement lovers out there, the achievements aren't very hard, and I can guarentee you'll get 1000/1000. I had 350 or so after one night of play, not even trying that hard to get them.

Greatest Madden Yet. Game play is faster than last years making it easier to evade tacklers and make tackles. Movements are way more fluent. Must Buy...

this game has many glitches. graphics are great. need to fix the glitches. online is pretty good. decent game i still prefer madden 08 over madden 09

i like the accuracy on play calling and the overall interaction you have while playing against the computer or a person

THIS GAME IS A GREAT GAME FOR MADDEN LOVERS. I RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO THE HIGHEST EXTENT. THE GAME PLAY IS OUTRAGEOUS AND VERY REALISTIC. ONLINE PLAY IS SMOOTH AND LESS LAG THEN THERE USUALLY IS WITH MADDEN GAMES.

All of the madden games are excellent. It is about time they put Brett Favre on the cover. This game is sure to blow everyones minds away.

I shop extensively to get the best deal on anything I want. I was shopping for the best deal on this game for a family member & jumped all over this. I'll be honest...I thought this was not what was described. I thought it was used or defective. It turned out to be a great deal. I don't know how or why it was so much cheaper than anyone else...but dont care! The game is working out just fine. Now that family member's Mother is mad at me because someone isn't doing their homework! LOL

Madden have been played in my family since 1999, we love the game, buy it every year, no matter what the cost or time my be, I bought this game for my older brother, because he have an xbox360, and I have a PS3, so I had mines, and got him one. Madden is great game, no problem, we buy every year, and will continue until our grand kids, can afford to buy them selves.

This game was no better than madden 2006 and is infact worse than 2005 which came out 4 years ago on a less technically advance system. Frankly the game has taken major steps backwards in the presentation of the game, but i can't help but be impressed at how the player models were improved and how the movement of the players is more fluid. Given the choice again, I would not have bought this game

I bought Madden 09 about a month ago and I haven't been able to put it down. I hooked up my xbox live and it's great. It's very addicting. If you have the time and the money to purchace the game and xbox live I would highly recommend it.

I'm a huge Madden game fan, I got hooked on it easily. Best graphics so far. Looks more realistic with the new tackling, and stadium setting. If you have any other Madden than this one, I recommend you upgrade. New touchdown celebrations add even more realism. And EA Sports backtrack makes you feel like your watching a real game. It's very smart. So what are you waiting for! Go out and get this!

When someone orders something from ebay and they are told one thing and another happens it is very "unsettling" to the customer. Everyone has an occasion where shipping may not be as quick as may have been expected but when the seller does not respond to the buyer for days and then gets rued that is not very good customer service and then to call the buyer names is just childish and silly but all is good with the game needless to say my son is enjoying it. But I will not be back to this seller for the simple fact he is RUED!!

Good graphics. Game play could be better. Prefer Ncaa 09. There could be more detail put into the game style but over all I think that it is quite a good game.

I bought it for my grandson. The price was great, shipping was good. Problem is the game did not work. We tried it on several systems and the disc was not able to be read. Fortunately we had a friend that works at a store and was able to exchange it for a good game.

POOR! I bought this game over a month ago still have not recieved it. It was a Christmas present for my son. Who is still waiting for it.

I thoroughly enjoy the game, but also can find it very difficult and frustrating at times. I went through the new Madden IQ Test, but still found it much too easy to pass and score and nearly imposible to stop the pass and the other team from scoring even when knowing the play! The running game has been nearly non-existent while the passing game has been over the top. I'm sure much of this has to do with my skill level, but it's been apparent with everyone that's played. Solid game (the best out there), but frustrating for those that like the statistical aspect.

The only way this sale could have gone any better is if the seller found a way to e-mail me the game. The sale was quick and efficient, and the product arrived days before I expected it. I am most impressed.
