Madden NFL 08 (Game Cube, 2007)

This is most likely the last game they are making for this system (Game Cube). I have always enjoyed this system, and am sorry to see it go the way as my Sega Genesis system went years ago. It seems they make a great system, the next thing you know, it is going off the market for a newer system, that may not be as good as the original GameCube. I tried the new system, it had too many problems, so I shall be one of the few out here who will still enjoy their GameCube. At present, I have nothing good to say about the new Wii system. It just has too many problems that come with it, as do all the other new systems. I have spoken with the pros on this topic, and they tell me that more than likely, the GameCube will go down in Nintendo's game system history as one of the greatest systems they have created. Too bad, they will not be creating more games for this fantastic system. It has the best graphics I have seen on any system, and will always be a favorite of mine. As for Madden NFL '08, they have done an absolute amazing job with this game. It is like I am running my own football games under the NFL League's Teams. I have always looked at the gaming world as being able to put oneself in the position of playing the very game I purchase. To me, this is the best ever Madden NFL to come out to date. I have played it on other systems; however I do not enjoy it as much as I do this one!!!!! Now that I have the final Gamecube game, I can now say that I will no longer bother with buying newer systems, as the industry is robbing us, the consumer of our hard earned money by making us go out there to buy these new systems.

pretty good game play considering this is formated for Nintendo's last generation system. i was happy to discover this game was actually made available for this old and outdated system. no complants. the game move along quickly and loading time is not too bad. playing this game made me feel like my Cube still had a little life left in 'em.

Madden NFL 08: Another great release by EA Sports with the new madden 08. This game has improved graphics, gameplay and also online play. Deeper franchise modes and superstar careers makes this game an A+

Can make your own teams, my hubby loves this game for that fact he can relax after a days work. My teenagers love it too. Playing it as well. Gives themhelp with beinng on the football team for school.

My son liked the Super Bowl ring that was included when you choose your favorite team.
He also liked the 'Skill Drills' very much.
It was much more detailed versus the 07 and 06 game.

I bought this game because it had the latest up to date rosters for the gamecube. The Graphics aren't a change from the previous editions but yet somehow are way better than the Wii! I was disappointed with '09 on the Wii for both gameplay but especially graphics. Unfortunately this was the last game they made for the Gamecube in the Madden series. I guess if I want to continue I'll have to pick up an xbox360 or ps3, boohoo. Butt I love the gameplay and graphics for this game. Looks like I'll have to find a way to delete Brett Favre since he retired!

A game for our 7 yr old Grandson.....HE LOVES IT! It has taught him a lot about football, and players that play in the NFL. He especially likes to play it with his 10 yr old cousin, ....who knows a lot about the NFL players as well as the game of football.
If you have someone interested in the NFL, this game would be a great gift for them!

We bought this game for our 12 year old for Christmas, and he just loves it. He loves the training practices that you are able to do on the game and he love playing against his brothers as well as the computer. These games (Madden Football) just keep getting better. Plus we are buying games for our game cube before we can’t find them any more. The stores don’t carry them in our area.

Of course the biggest downfall that the Gamecube has when compared to the other systems is the graphics. No the graphics are not stunning, but the gameplay interaction is a lot of fun. That's why I picked one up.
