one of the classic non-stop animations, what a great blast from the past. as a huge fan of animation this is whats knows a great dinner and a movie two thumbs up

If you were a kid in the 1960's or 70's you gotta love this film! It's a monster mystery movie in classic claymation featuring the voices of well known celebrities of the time (Boris Karloff, Phyllis Diller, etc.) You can rattle off lines from this film to most people from that era and they'll remember the movie! Had to introduce it to my kids, but like another reviewer found--they were bored! They watched to humor me but I could see they didn't enjoy it as I did every year it was played around Halloween. Still I'm glad I bought it. My husband and I love to pop it in now and then to laugh at the "puppets" and remember.

Mad Monster Party - Classic PerfectionLegendary Underground Movie, Classic to the Bone. Wished there were more classic movies like this one. Voices all by legends.This movie is defintely overlooked but maybe thats why it makes it so cool.

awesomethis is an old Rankin/Bass stop motion movie about monsters getting together at the request of Dr. Frankenstein. It's a nostalgic piece to many and a lighthearted film. Very funny.

Mad Monster Party DVDI love this movie. It is so cute. Why don't they ever show this on TV? The characters are funny and even my kids loved it. Great buy, if you loved Frosty the Snowman or Jack Frost.

I bought this DVD because I am a child of the 60's. And growing up this movie
was a regular every time around Halloween.
The special effects were great for back then, and the characters were stop motion. The voices Boris Karloff and Phyliss Diller are great. This is a Jules Bass classic. There is a bonus booklet with the DVD that give in an insight into what makes this a movie classic.
I couldn't remember what the title of the movie was until I researched on the internet. And once I knew it, I figured I would take a shot and see if I could find it on eBay. Sure enough, here it was!

Monster PuppetsI bought this DVD purely for nostalgic reasons. This movie used to come on every Halloween. I looked forward to seeing it every year. I realize now how cheesy it is but am so very happy I made this purchase.

When I first heard that this title was going to DVD I was very excited. I remember this movie from my childhood, but unlike the other ventures from
the creatord RANKIN-BASS(rudolf the red nosed reindeer,santa claus is coming to
town)MAD MONSTER PARTY was not shown at all over the years, leading to its
popularity.
It is a eather adult venture for the company, but keeps it's silliness that
child and adult will be entertained with. The songs aren't as memorable or for that fact as singable as the christmas films but still funny, The voices of
ms. Diller and the brilliant boris karloff cap off a great supporting cast.
the extra bonus special features are a plus and a nice visit.
