This book includes a well rounded chapter on just about every aspect of machine tool procedures at a novice and apprentice level. It is filled with a wealth of information from the beginner to intermediate machinist level. I would consider it training material, at a very high level. The cutting tool section is worth the price alone. For anyone that was trained on High School machines twenty years ago, it sheds light on the latest developments in cutting tool technology. Thumbs up on this book for the Home hobbyist or aspiring machinist.
