I bought this for a friend. I own one myself & used to go to Pr. MacArthur's church in LA. It's an awesome study Bible--the commentary is very thorough & it's very helpful to have a pastor I trust studying alongside me. I'm excited for my friend to use it!

Beautiful Bible! Lots of study notes, maps, charts, outlines, etc. Highly recommend this Bible. I decided to buy it because I really like John MacArthur's programs and Bible studies. I am not disappointed in this Bible.

I wanted to buy a Macarthur Study Bible because it is one of the best study Bibles that there is. Not only did I want one, but I wanted one that a lower class citizen like me could afford. It is always hard when you see a great read or Bible that is so expensive that you aren't able to buy. It was in great condition and I am looking forward to what the Lord will teach me through His word.

I have numerous study Bibles and commentaries. John MacArthur's study Bible and commentaries are best! His doctrine is sound, his insight useful, and his explanations thorough. To sample his teaching, I recommend hearing him and viewing his articles at oneplace.com

I have just started to really pursue the word and this Bible has been a great tool for study. The commentary has helped me to understand the history of as well as the truths God reveals in His word. I would highly recommend this Bible to anyone looking for a deeper relattionship with our Christ and Savior.

This study Bible is exactly the one I was looking for. It is in the version I wanted, and with MacArthur's notes, it give one the insight that is lacking from most pulpits today.If you have not heard of John MacArthur, you should. He is one of the strongest Christians I have ever heard speak,and teach. "Grace To You" is his site, and check him out. Ebay is the perfect place to buy this Bible.

this is the one. regardless of whatever any drooling cretin says, this one has the reliable theology, the reliable study material, and the literal translation that those who WANT these things seek.
if they want the benny hinn, or a swaggart bible, they will be sorely disappointed in the lack of free willy arminian tripe, as well as whatever word of faith 'make it up as you go' theology the hinnites/copelandites and tbn zombies seem to thrive on, as opposed to sound doctrines.

) The only dislikes about this Bible is that it is not red-letter but that is fine. I really like the MacArthur's commentary on the Word of God and brings new light on the subject. Just make sure and still think for yourself. God Bless
