Solid as a rock. Literally!

This review is for the center-shafted version. I tried both but found the center-shafted to be the one most suited for my putting stroke.
This putter is dead square on every stroke, every time. It's almost impossible to make the head twist in any direction on even the most horrific mis-hits, (and I've had a few). It sets up beautifully behind the ball with an alignment aid running the entire length of the mallet and the two perimeter rails assisting in leveling the head, (when you can't see the sides of the rails the head is perfectly square to the ground). There is no excuse to not line up this putter perfectly every time.
The feel on impact is soft; this might be the only gripe I have, as it is almost too soft. On slight mishits it can be difficult to register them before you look up and see the ball heading an inch or three by the hole. I'm being very picky here though, the putter outperforms pretty much all mallets I have tried with the one possible exception of the 2-ball with the steel insert. That putter is normally priced significantly higher than the M6.4K and it is simply not worth that much more money based on a pure performance comparison. Needless to say, this is the putter in my bag.
