MX vs. ATV Unleashed (PlayStation 2, 2005)

This is byfar the best game for PS2 or if not in the Top 10. I would recommend this game to any PS2 player and a person who loves racing (off and on road). Totally awesome 5/5 Stars.

If you like ATV offroad fury this game is good, lots of different modes, hill climbs, races, freestyle, quads, dirtbikes, buggies, just lots of diff ways to race, earn points to buy new things.....very versatile and alot of fun

In "MX vs. ATV Unleashed," players power through all-new environments and event types, choosing from a variety of new vehicles. A redesigned monster truck, powerful sand-rail and raised 4x4 golf karts will meet ATVs, dirt bikes and bi-planes to compete in massive free-world environments featuring hill climbs, machine challenges and short track races. The game's career mode allows gamers to choose from the top professional ATV and Motocross riders.

The game was great in my opinion and the Graphics were pretty good as well. The game play was easy to get the hang of and it was realistic too. I was addicted right from the start. There are lots of tricks you can do during races or just compete for high score. You also get to race trucks, monster trucks, buggys, and more. I saw that you can buy helicopters and airplanes but I havent gotten to use them yet. There is a wide variety of bikes and atvs to choose from along with boots, helmets, goggles, outfits and more. I would have to say its worth $15.00 to me. Id say its worth giving a shot and I think you would agree after trying it out.

I had to buy this game for my boys because of the various vehicles you could drive in it. You can ride a dirt bike, a four-wheeler, a sand rail, a golf cart, a trophy truck, a monster trunk (the 4 year old's favorite), a helicopter, or even an airplane (the 6 year old's favorite). I like that they can go anywhere in these things, and don't have to have the same kind of vehicle to race each other. They all handle well and are fun to race (or pull tricks with).

There are a number of small things I dislike about the game, which is why I only gave it a rating of "good" instead of "excellent". The music, sadly, is rather inappropriate for children. There are curse words throughout. The split screen only goes one way, with no option for horizontal, for those who prefer that way. The color/style choices for each vehicle are severely limited, while the options for the rider's outfits (most or all of which cannot even be seen during play) are plentiful. And lastly, the menus are difficult for a child to work through.

All in all, it is well worth the money, so I'd highly recommend it.

My son already had this tape for his playstation 2. But it accidently got thrown away with his old playstation 2. It was exactly what we had ordered. And the information was very helpful in describing the item. My son loves this game because of all the exciting things that it does.

I bought this game as a gift. It was a great price and got delivered very quickly. The person I bought it for enjoys it a lot.

I love that it has dirtbikes and four-wheelers.
Some of the levels are hard.
I wanted it because my mom won't buy me a real ATV.
I want to be an ATV racer.

This was a real treat to see two of my son's favorite video games come together to make one.. His eyes just lite up when he saw the promote for it on TV.
after that he saved his money and bought the game himself.. The graphics are great. The races are so over the top, the tracks and the whole game is great

This game is great! You should buy it. I have a lot of games and this is my favorite. It has great graphics and gameplay. The only bad thing about it is that they don't have real nationals tracks. They made their own. The supercross tracks are real. The detail of the machines is great. You can use atvs, bikes, golf carts, planes, helicopters, trophy trucks, dune buggys, and sand rails. Have fun!

This is a must have game for any ATV or dirt bike rider as the game play is fast and furious with a great helmet view so you get the sence of being the rider or driver. The sand rails are a blast to race and cannot wait till I get to race the golf carts. Get this game and do not look back at any other dirt bike game well maybe MX unleashed but that is it but this game tops the MX unleashed.

Just buy it.

I am happy to find this game; especially at this price! And, it was in fine working order, as well. Quite similiar to the ATV Offroad Fury series developed by Rainbow Studios, this game has the same feeling of surging speed and soaring over jumps that riding real machines has, without the broken bones! I do wish there was a larger selection of tracks, but I can live with it!

Great game for children of all ages. No violence. At age 10+ it gets harder to find games that are not violent and can keep childrens interests. This game does that. My son loves it and plays it with his friends all the time.

This is a great game that allows head to head racing with two players, or more if you have an internet connection. This game allows you to customize every aspect of play, from the way the bikes and riders look to the number of laps that you might want the race to last. It is also very easy to learn to perform different techniques that will to do well within the game. My whole family loves this game.

The game play is awesome, the freeplay mode is so fun, the best of any racing game.

You won't be disappointed with this game!

This is a fun game for kids (and bigger kids) who like to race and do stunts. I have my kids turn the sound down low so any questionable lyrics cannot be discerned (can only hear the motor, background music and cheering). Lots of fun. My kids will do EXTRA chores just to play this one!

My son (age 9) requested this game after playing with it in a friend's home. He loves it & would play 24/7 if allowed! Great game that's appropriate for the family.
