MVP Baseball 2005 (Game Cube, 2005)

I really love this game. The new mini games mode is fun to play and great to develop your hitting and pitching skills. I love to play the new owner mode. It is very fun and challenging to manage your own team while trying to maintain a profit and build your stadium. It is not hard to learn this game, and is a great game for any baseball fan.

i needed a baseball game for my gamecube and this one seemed perfect and it was and still is.thanks for this game.

It's an older version, but my son still loves it. The new version is fun also. But for the discounted price 2005 is just as good!

The best Basball game available by EA Sports. It offers the player excellant control (even better than 2004) when batting by letting you direct where you want to hit the ball. You still get the control of placing pitches that 2004 had. The one thing I hate about this game and 2004 is the anoying repetative sports commentary, just turn down or off your volume. I really enjoy playing this game. A novice, pro and all those in between can enjoy this game.

MVP Baseball 2005 is the closest game currently on the market to give you the most in-depth baseball experience possible.It's not only Manny on the cover, but also the intro video, cracks and comments throughout the games and even a song praising Boston's first title in 86... graphics, game play battling, fielding and baserunning are great.

This is one of the best sports games ever. It's also the greatest baseball game ever. It's a shame EA lost the MLB rights.

Anyone who knows a bit about baseball understands why no seats are available behind the center field fence. Take a look at any stadium in the game... the area is usually a dark shade of green. The fields are designed this way because it's hard enough to see the baseball already, and it would be really distracting to the hitters if fans were crowding the area behind the pitcher's head. So this brings me to my complaint. Why is it that the area directly behind the pitcher's head is nearly completely white in the create-a-ball park? It wouldn't bother me if this is something I could change, but this is pretty much the only area of the create-a-ball park that you can not change. It annoys the living hell out of me because you simply can not see the ball until it's too late. How the hell the developers overlooked this issue is baffling, but I usually find myself playing home games at the visiting team's stadium because it's so frustrating to play in my own. Otherwise, this is a must have on any system for anyone who's a fan of baseball.

It is a great game. I missed my hopeful delivery date, but that may have been due to the time I allowed. I got priority mail on a Saturday, but didn't get the game until the end of the week. Belated birthday gift.
