The MPC NetFRAME 1610 delivers leading server technology in a remarkably compact design. The NetFRAME 1610 offers the form and the functionality that fits your budget. It offers hot-swappable components, Intel Xeon processors and up to 12GB of DDR SDRAM all in a 1U form factor. This model is configured with a 2.4GHz Intel Xeon processor (upgradeable to two processors), a 512KB L2 cache, a 36GB Ultra320 SCSI hard drive and 1GB DDR SDRAM, expandable to 12GB. In addition to the 533MHz front bus speed, the 1610 contains two PCI-X slots, while the Ultra320 SCSI backplane can handle up to three hot-swap hard drive modules or two hard drives and one CD-ROM drive. For your networking needs, it features integrated dual Intel 82546EB Gigabit NICs, while the ATI Rage XL video controller with 8MB RAM provides crisp, clear images.
