Although most of those who starred in MASH didn't go on to win Oscars on a yearly basis, those who were cast were excellent in capturing an era in American Television. Shows like MASH helped to broadent the spectrum of TV to step outside the box, combining satire, drama, and good old fashioned knee slapping comedy akin to the standup greats.
