Symphonic Sillyness!
An instrumental album that will have you "doubled over" with laughter! The album starts off with a "Spaghetti Western" style theme, and over the course of the next 40 minutes you'll here everything from Musak versions of Mother's favorites, to Venture's style "Surf Guitar." All of this is intermixed with a healthy dose of commentary from various members of the band, and "high as a kite" groupies. Amazingly, Zappa melds all of this together into one cohesive, albeit funny, symphonic suite. Great background music, though from time to time you'll be asking yourself "was that "Wipeout" by The Safaris, or what did he mean when he said "the water turned black out of sympathy"?
