i owned 2 of these same watches before they are not navy seal watches. My 2 uncles were navy seals one died in nam the other is still here with us.Navy seals were casio dive watches and so on (cheap watches) that are going to last a year or two. This watch is supposed to glow non stop for at least 20 years this one i bought on ebay was listed as ten years old so the glow was half as bright the battery was just changed as indicated by the seller which seemed fair.I just bought it because i like the looks of them and the other two i owned said just like this one says on it 200m water resistant NOT TRUE you cant dive in them i tried to swim in a pool at the Y and the first one went back to the store the next one they gave me they said at the store (this is the last one we can give you next time you have to send it in to the factory) so ok i went swimming in it at a pool again right before i went to get scuba diver certified and it got water in it to. So i kept it untill it was lost and i couldnt find it and forgot about it.Now the only watch that did not let me down was my timex expidtion 100M only water resistant watch and that's not even a dive rated watch. Also if a navy seal gets cought like as in POW and they have on this watch do you think (they) are going to were a watch that gives it away another thing my uncle told me they dont give these watch's to them my unlce was a modern vet from the late 70-00 he told me to just buy a casio watch to scuba dive in. So i also bought a casio g-shock 200m water resistant watch and i found the crystal to be scrath proof and this seal watch got a good scratch across it the first day i wore it to work so i figured i would keep wearing it to get my money's worth. so tks for reading and shop smart before you blow $225-$800 on a luminox or any seal watch) because if a navy seal gets cought and is a POW ah hah. You just need to take it to a jeweler and tell them you want to have the battery cover sealed with silicone then you can swim or dive in it.
