This game is great. It is simple and addictive with some pretty cool music tracks. The challenge mode gets a little old since you start at the same level everytime and the first few songs will eventually drive you crazy.
I really like the puzzle mode which is entertaining and challenging.
I bought the older version since other reviews of Lumines II revealed that it was just more of the same, but since this was so much fun and I want to keep playing but need new music I may buy Lumines II as well.
What might have been a really cool feature in the game is a reward system that allowed you to unlock online downloadable content, like new music tracks that you could use to switch out the earlier levels so you had new game content on the levels you end up playing most.
Overall this is a must have PSP title.
