Movie Description
Tailored to appeal to a young, hip, urban Latino audience who have been influenced equally by American and Spanish-speaking culture, LUGAR HEIGHTS is an adult animated series in the irreverent vein of South Park. The first series of its kind to incorporate such a blend of Latino and pop culture, it does so in a way that achieves broad appeal due to the diverse nature of its characters and scenarios. The series follows the adventures of six friends living in Anywhere Heights, USA: the energetic Manos Mendez, tough-talking China Lopez, Q-ba, Roxy, and Humo. In the first episode, the kids literally get trapped in their television, encountering pop culture and a bevy of eccentric characters as they fight to escape. Combining satire, dark humor, and pop culture in a parody of mass entertainment, the show is refreshingly innovative in its style, subject matter, and language, making it a milestone of urban entertainment.
