Luck of the Draw by Bonnie Raitt (CD, Jun-1991, Capitol/EMI Records)

Bonnie Raitt has a beautiful voice and she shares her talent in this awesome cd. She has a raw sound that seems real--not produced in a studio. You really get an awesome listening experience with her. If you are a Bonnie Raitt fan--pick up this cd. Hers are hard to find.

Slight rasp in Raitt's voice is seductive. Fun to revisit cd after enough time has past. Sometimes it's easier to judge music with a little elapsed time to provide perspective. "I Can't Make You Love Me" is my reason for buying this cd.
George Michael owns this song. But Raitt's version is nice to hear from a female performer.

This was not one of Bonnie's better cd's but still enjoyable. It is not one that I would play over ande over but will enjoy when I do play it.

Great music, great delivery, just what I expected and hoped for. The price was right and I was looking for this title from Bonnie Raitt. Great cuts on the CD.

Te CD goes really smooth from the beggining to the end. You will listen the whole CD and think that the time passed faster...

I rate this CD excellent in comparison to her other CDs'!!!...she is fantastic and the best female in her genre !!!...to me "Nick of Time" was a great come back,...and "Luck of the Draw" proves it as the following release.You will hear rock, blues, country etc.....and have a real good time !!!!

In my opinion this is her best. She has a wonderful rymthm and beat to her music. Very sexy tunes also. You will not be dissapointed with this one.

Bonnie Raitt is one of the greatest singer I have every heard. She sings each song as if she have lived every work. From blues, country, and soul she takes top honors. I would love to see her one day in concert!!

This woman has been run - or has run herself, depending on how you look at it -through the wringer of life, and has emerged triumphant with her sanity and talent intact. Luck of the Draw is possibly her finest album. Emotion runs the gamut from happiness to sadness and everything in between. This is a must-have for anyone's music collection!

There are only three songs that I really love on this album. Track 1 and 3 are the most famous from this CD and the best. I preferred Nick of Time over this album.

My son has been gifted with an extraordinary musical talent. Over the past two years we have attended many concerts of '60's and '70's music icons. At a recent Rolling Stones concert in Las Vegas, Bonnie Raitt was the (unannounced) opening act. She is a remarkable guitar player. The CD is out of print and I purchased the CD on ebay for my son. It is everything I could hope for. The transaction was smooth and fast. I would highly recommed this CD, which won 3 grammy awards and thrust Bonnie Raitt into the limelight.
