Ok, for a basic GPS

It's a good system if you don't have overly high expectations. The basic mapset doesn't drill down to the neighborhood level the way my old Handspring Visor w/Magellan plug-in module (running Map Solutions) did.
The Lowrance locks signal very fast, even indoors and is easy to use. You need a special cable (usually not included and often the same cost as the GPS unit these days) to interface with your PC. For the caual user, I guess it would be OK, but I'm going to sell it off and get another Visor to replace the one I broke.
