Loverboy Classics by Loverboy (CD, Sep-1994, Legacy Recordings)

What a great deal this purchase was. I have been in the process of replacing many of my worn out favorite - must have CD's. The music I grew up with. When I saw this Loverboy CD I had to have it. The CD was used but in perfect condition. I have enjoyed not only playing the music but buying it off of ebay and having it delivered right to my mailbox. All of the sellers I have dealt with have been kind and considerate by sending me a thoughful communication when to expect my shipment. I don't have to drive 24 miles to the mall in Crystal River and hope the music I want is in stock. Usually it isn't because I only buy the older music. Ebay is the only way to go buying CD's. The prices are better than the malls, the delivery is prompt - right to your front door! I get to hear from nice people. It is my kind of shopping!

cd arrived in great shape with little damage to any part of it. i grew up on this music and when i got the opportunity to buy it i jumped. i have yet to receive anything from any ebay seller that has made me unhappy. no wonder ebay is so successful! thanks

I purchase this along with several other CD's for my husband. He was laid up for 3 months due to surgery & he did nothing but watch TV. He got sick of that after a while, so he started listening to music. This was a great choice as he likes loverboy

I have always liked Loverboy. Since I have been a fan of Loverboy from way back in the day (I will not divulge exactly how long because that might reveal my true age). It would be way too hard to have all of my favorite Loverboy songs together on separate CD's. Even if I could find them all, and they don't make a record player for cars. Since, most of my original albums were Vinyl, I was really glad to find a greatest hits CD. eBay is a great place to find those hard to find things. This CD is not exactly easy to find in the stores. Thank you eBay and the seller!!!

I purchased this CD for the songs "Turn me Loose" and "Working for the Weekend" to have a pure digital copy of them in my Music Library. I enjoyed hearing the variety and diversity Loverboy had... I was pleasantly surprised.

They could have done without the ballads... Of the three on the cd, I don't remember or particularly like any of them (Almost Paradise from the "Footloose" soundtrack was the only ballad you'll recognize). The ballads all sound over-bearing with forced deep vocal tones that lend false emotion.

Other than not being "Balladiers", Loverboy is a great party group... fun and easy-going, with great lead vocals and well-played bass and guitar lines.

The ultimate Party Song from this album is "Lovin' Every Minute of It". This under-utilized classic (that seems to never get plyed on any classic radio station) will prove you a "party hero" for a gathering of friends at your home... I danced to it right-away!

Over-All, if you love 80's music or grew up in the 80's and would like to re-kindle some memories, this is a "Must have" album for your music collection!

I decided to buy this because it is great fun music to listen to and brings back alot of memeories. Plays perfectly!!!

I love this band. Ever since I saw them on MTV and then, 3 years later in '86 - live at the Orange county fairgrounds in, NY. Dokken opened up for them and it was great. Workin' for the weekend will be forever in our hearts and minds as countless radio D.J's play that track on Friday @ 5pm around the country...

The first video I ever saw for Loverboy was "When It's over" on MTV back in the day... it was when MTV played music. Well, the aor format...(Album oriented Rock at least...) then, they had the second single... of their debut album... "Turn me loose..." What a great band... one of the biggest bands of the 80's.

Paul Dean the guitarist is a GREAT guitar player... he knows WHEN NOT TO PLAY.
he won't fill a song with ego-jaculation of endless guitar hero notes... but can still play the F*** out of a strat... I love his guitar tone...
Underrated... without a doubt...

solid rythm section and awesome keys... love this band.

The cd was in excellent condition. It plays great, and had an awesome buy on it including shipping! I bought the cd because my tape was playing alittle scratchy.

One of the best greatest hits CD's by any 80's band. A must for any collector. The photo layout inside brings back lots of high school memories. I bought this CD (due to the song content) for my juke box at work, which has mostly 70's and 80's bands (and is played as background music)...beats the local radio stations in my area. Highly recommended to all who tolerated this time in music.

Another great cd I purchased for next to nothing. I had Loverboy's first three or four ALBUMS way back when and to get all their greatest hits on one cd is awesome! It's a great addition to my collection!
