Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, Sheila McGraw (1986, Paperback)

I was at my Sunday service in Church recently and the priest read this book to the congregation during the sermon. I was moved to tears and immediately thought of the unconditional love that my mother has given to me over the years. After Church, I did an eBay lookup and found this book. I have read it many times and have read it aloud to my staff at work. Although it is a children's book, it brought many tears to this "over 50" child. I will try to obtain more of these books and give them away as inspirational gifts.

I bought this book, Love You Forever for a friend of mine As gift when she had her first baby April 13, 2007. Every time someone in our family, or a close friend has a new baby they get this book. I can NEVER get thru the book without crying--it is a beautiful story about growing up into an adult. I used to read this book to all of my grand children when they were little, it is a favorite of all of them. If they were sick I would hold them and read this book using their name as the little boy in the book. I have to say this is my favorite of all my books. It is a very short easy reading book.

I loved this story. Actually my daughter had hugged me and said, "mom, I will love you forever, I will like you for always, as long as I am living my mommy you'll be." I said to her, "Becca that is so sweet". She told me she remembered it from a story the teacher had read to her classroom. She told me the title of the book and the authors name, so of course ebay here I come. ( I always search ebay first)I found it, bought it, read it, and loved it. So YES I do recommend this very sweet story to parents and children, and I would say of all ages. Excellent.

I bought this book as a gift to my boys for Valentine's day(3 and 5 years old) and bought more to give as gifts to new mothers of baby boys. The price was outstanding for these books--shipment was fast and transaction easy.

I purchased this book for my wife and new baby daughter for Christmas 2007. She cries every time she reads it. It's a beautiful story and a great book. I should have bought the hard cover thou, my wife has already "broken in" the soft cover from reading it so much.

This is a great book that describes the love of a mother. Im a teacher and bought this book because kids of all ages can always relate to the situations described here. I first heard this book read to me in the first grade and fell in love with it, and I'm sure you will too!

This book was given to us almost 12 years ago to celebrate the birth of our first child. I to this day can not read with out feeling extemely touched. I purchase it for any one that we by a baby gift for and add a congrats note in the front cover. It always goes over well!!

This is probebly hands down, one of my favorite books of all time. It means SO much to me. My mother used to read this to me when I was a little girl. Now that I'm older, and have a son of my own...it means 1000 x's more to me than ever! I can't even look at the cover and think about it with out getting a little teary eyed. I recomend it to ANYONE who just loves childrens books...especially mothers! My son is nearly 1 now, and I would like to start reading this book to him on a regular basis :) I plan on getting him his own new copy for his Birthday, and I Think he'll enjoy it as much as I did.

I have loved this book since I worked in daycare 8 yrs ago I lost my copy and had to have it to share with my newest son. This is a must have book to share with the love of your life

I loved this book from the first time I saw it. I always share this with the parents of the students in my classroom. I want them to understand how the lessons they teach thier child will go with them for life. I also recently lost my own parents. I read the book to them at thier memorial and there was not a dry eye. I placed my copy with my momma and gently kissed her for the last time and told her that I will love her forever and as long as I am living my mommie she will be. If you do not tear up on this book you are not human

This is the greatest book ever written for any mother who has a son. I started reading it to my son 23 years ago! He recently sent me a letter from grad school and ended it with the chorus in this book

I'll love you forever,
Forever and ever my Mom you will be!

It stuck with him for all these years. I guarantee you cannot read it with a dry eye~~~~

This is a warm and loving story of a journey through life of a Mother and her son.
I bought this to read to my grown sons after I heard it for the first time at a baby shower. Surprisingly it touched my older sons as much as it did me. I have since bought it for women I know who are expecting a baby. Even though it's about a little boy little girls like it too.
