For the Love of Strange Medicine by Steve (Rock) Perry (CD, Jul-1994, Columbia USA)

Steve Perry's second solo CD came out in 1994. About one third of it are great songs but there's a fair amount of filler. I was also disappointed when I discovered after I purchased this CD that there is a new version with additional tracks.

Love Steve Perry's voice and I like this album very much!!!! This CD reminded me just how good his voice is!!

I love the cd because it's Steve Perry singing...what's not to love ? I bought this cd because Steve Perry has the most "AWESOME" voice ever.

Steve Perry expresses so much emotion when he sings and this cd is a great example of that. He is truly "the voice".

WOW I too love this cd, it has a lot of the 80s vibe that Steve Perry had with Journey, I do miss him being with the band of Journey NO ONE will ever and I do mean ever be able to take his place, Journey would make 3 times more money if Steve Perry got back in, all of us 80s guru's would love this to take place maybe oneday this will happen. Please don't make us wait to long... Thanks Steve for all the years you have devoted to singing and sharing your beautiful voice with us all may God Bless and Keep you.

I love some of the ballads on this. Steve Perry puts so much feeling in his songs, and he can sing better than anyone I know! If you love Steve Perry, you will love this CD!

I love halways loved Steve Perry's voice. His time with Journey was the best of the 80's. This CD is different from most of his prior work. The songs range from happy to sad, but everyone of them is wonderful. If I had not been looking to replace an album, I would never have know this CD existed.

The cd that I had purchased came to me in good condition, the case was cracked a little but I can deal with this, I am a big fan of Steve Perry so it was worth it. I am pleased with my purchase.

First and foremost i would like to confess why i bought this particular album from e-bay.During my school days,i used to own a casettee of this album.I simply loved his soulful voice and the energy and passion he puts into each and every song he sings.I kept the album with me for many years and recently i bought a cd of this album through e-bay and guessed what?I got it at such a reasonable price as the price was what i paid for the casettee in my country many years back.
There is nothing in particular that i dislike about this album because it can be compared to Street Talk anytime as both albums are simply awesome.So why are u wasting more time,go and grab a copy or two from where else but e-bay like i did,ha ha ha!!!!!!

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS CD, IS THAT IT HAS STEVE PERRY SINGING ON IT SO I HAD TO BUY IT. I LOVE HIM AND HIS SINGING. THIS HAS NOTHING THAT I DISLIKE. ALSO THIS IS AN ORIGINAL CD FROM THE MUSIC FACTORY AND NOT A PIRATED COPY OR A FAKE.IT IS EXCELLANT.THE SOUND QUALITY IS PERFECT.
