Steve Perry, former frontman for Journey during their peak days, CAN DELIVER!
This was his second solo CD that he backed with a tour. Here's a listing of the songs:
You Better Wait
Young Hearts Forever
I Am
Stand Up (Before It's Too Late)
For the Love of Strange Medicine

Listen to Your Heart
Tuesday Heartache
Missing You
Somewhere There's Hope
Anyway
My particular favorites are "I Am," "Anyway," and "Missing You." I really love his ballads though and these three are. "Anyway" is written about his feelings about the band Journey and their parting. "Missing You" was written about the loss of his relationship with Sherrie (for whom he also wrote "Oh, Sherrie").
"You Better Wait" is a lively, rocking tune, as is "Listen to Your Heart."
If you love the sound of classic Journey or Steve Perry, I don't think you would be disappointed with this CD at all. I love it!!
