Love Must Be Tough by James C. Dobson (1983, Hardcover)

This is a wonderful and enlightening book. A must read book. I loved the way it presented all of the facts causing a relationship to go downhill and also the way it brought to light how to mend and grow in love, contentment, and joy. proves that two people can get closer together and work to repair the damages of their past. Also it helps teach you that there are underlying causes from both partners growing up environment that gets in the way of understanding a partnership as one.

Even though this book was written some time ago, the message is timeless when dealing with difficult situations concerning relationships. I was introduced to James Dobson's books and teaching over 20 years ago. I then started listening to his morning radio program "Focus on the Family" on my way to work. James Dobson's book "Love Must Be Tough" is truly a classic. This book gently unravels the hurting readers thought process about relationship's and gives a new perspective especially when dealing with an unfaithful partner. His unique way of guiding the hurting person back to self respect is priceless. I have personally read this book several times and have given it to friends throughout the years who suddenly found themselves in a painful relationship. This book is just a great tool of healing and personal development for those in a painful relationship.

Over the years I've purchased several copies of this book. It's great for people who are having dating problems, marriage issues, or who just want to work on their personal relationships in general. Dr. Dobson, and Focus on the Family, is wonderful and I highly recommend this book!

People who are having trouble with their spouse...it's excellent. Believe me it works if you follow Dr. Dobson's advise!
