Love Me If You Dare (DVD, 2004)

This is not a chick flick, at least not necessarily a chick flick.
If you enjoy French films in the realm of Audrey Tatou, then "Love Me if You Dare," is right up your alley.
First off, the U.S. title for the movie "Love Me if You Dare" is clumsily misleading from the original French title which amounts to "Children's Games."
This being said the story of two children who grow up together and form a bond not frequently seen in film or society.
This film has one of those easy to spoil endings so to maintain some ambiguity I'll simply say that the film is brilliant, but the post-script style ending seems to have been tacked on to satisfy focus groups.
People I talk to about this film have very definite opinions about it, one way or another, you will simply like it or you won't.

I liek taht I can watch it, but it sucks that I can only watch it on my laptop. Oh well. I mean it came in good condition, and at a good time period, so no complaints really. Thanks.

Dislike about it is its subbed and not dubbed. Its one of the best french movies I have ever seen. Along side of Amelie, City of lost children(dubbed), Leon the professional(english speaking actors), Le femme nikkita(dubbed)just to name a few.

I bought this movie because it's pretty much my favorite movie ever. When I looked it up online it was extremely expensive until I found this copy of it and it was very reasonably priced.

This film was a complete surprise hit in America after it was a HUGE success in France. Hence why the production of DVD's halted and it has now become one of the most sought-after films. It's an interesting combination of the relationship Americans have with foreign films, the mechanics of this industry (of which I am a part of), and the pure reality of the ideology of quality films - No matter what language, what barriers are present, or subject matter...good films are good films.

This will always be a gem and I will never ever get rid of it...the search for it it is a story on it's own.

Even thou the seller tries to sell items he dosn't posses at the moment he notified me almost two weeks after the purchase that the item wasn't available. If posible check with other bidders who take more seriously ebay and its clients.

Even though we did not end up finishing off the trade, the seller was nice to let me know that the item was out of stock and provided refund for me. The seller's nice,responded quick with manners, hope to trade again in the future.Thanks

I enjoyed this film from start to finish.I love films that are filmed in Paris!The acting was so convincing,it was like you were right in the film.This one i'll watch over and over.

this is a wonderful french film with a colorful cinematography and creative and heart-warming story. very well done. highly recommended. if you've never seen a foreign film before, this is a great place to start.

This is a great movie! I found this movie at blockbuster amongst their slim but diverse foreign film collection. I love love love this movie!! it's very fast and colorful much like Amelie! It moves right along and is a great love story!! You will not be disappointed if you like the directing style of Amelie and if you love French Film.

What a wonderful movie. It has the charm of childhood with colorful figures and imagination. As the charactors grow older so does the scenery... it's incredible. I LOVED IT! The dialogue is also amazing! I laughed so hard. Their game is hilarious! But their friendship is pure and their love is wild. It's a sweet, comedy that men and women both will enjoy (my boyfriend loved it as well!) Trust me you'll never guess what will happen next in this one.

I love the innovative nature of this story. It is a combo of love story and thriller. The ending is a real shocker.

the dvd came in a generic dvd case instead of an original. the movie was scractched and skipped half way through, it was very dissapointing to say the least.

This is an excellent romantic comedy with a dark side. It definitely is a feel good film overall, but makes a lot of things that shouldn't be funny be funny. Excellent acting and directing. A lot of people compare it to Amelie(which I feel is overrated), but the only similarity I see is in the cinematography. Highly reccomended!
