Thank you to Melody! This is the most comprehensive book I have found for learning the metaphysical properties associated with crystals, stones, minerals, fossils, & more. 726 pages of information on over 1,000 crystals and stones! You are sure to find many you never knew existed and info on many you've always wondered about. This book is for those interested in the healing properties and energy emitted by crystals/stones. If you need a geological reference of the stones seek another book. If you need pictures (there are none in this book) seek the pictorial supplement by Melody.

I have always been sensitive to the energy of stones and Melody is concise and practical in her evaluations. She does a great job of communicating the information without over-doing it. Aside from being an essential reference book, it is nice to just randomly open this book up and learn about crystals & stones.

At under 20.00 you will not find a more informative reference book.

I absolutely love this book. Mine is earmarked and tattered from using it so extensively. I do stone work and beading and this book realy helps to personalize what I am making because it contains the metaphysical properties of stones. I purchased this for my mom because she is working with stones and gems. She loves her copy as well. Thank you for providing this book at a very good price.!!! This book is very informative concerning the different rocks that you might have and helps you chose those that you might want. I under line every rock I have in my book. Makes it easier to look it up when I need to reread the information. I recommed this book highly. Dianne

More information than I ever anticipated.

I had this title previously, so I wanted to purchase the updated version. This is an excellent reference book for anyone. There is so much information that no matter who you are......you can learn as much, or as little, as you want.

I bought this book because I have a strong interest in Crystals and their properties. This book is one of the most complete books that I have found with the information that I need. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and I use crystals in my healing work. This book is a wonderful guide for me to better help myself and others on their Healing Journey.

I bought this book because I collect rocks and this book is very detailed on the subject of rocks. The books tells you what the rocks vibrate at as well as the spirital properties of the rocks. The book is very easy to use and understand. There is not one thing I did not like about this book. I would recommend this book to others.

I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn about stones and crystals. It's a very simple, laid out format. The stones are easy to find and the information is quite thorough. A good reference book to keep on hand!

Excellent and concise descriptions of gems and minerals - a must have for anyone interested in their meanings, properties and abilities.

Wonderfully informative...with just about every stone, rock, mineral and crystal you can think of. the only 'bad' thing is that there are no photos.....

This is a great book! Full of info that I use all the time! I had a copy & gave it to a friend so this is why I purchased this book. One of the best books I have seen on stones!

The book is very succinct reference book, showing connections to Astrology, uses in healing, connecting with inner self, and astrophysical properties of the Gems.

The best book on crystals, gemstones and minerals. Good info on common and not so common stones. THE Reference book for metaphysical properties of stones. Ask anyone in Reiki what book they use and this is the one they all talk about.

Well written & easy to use. The only draw back is no pictures.

There couldn't be a more comprehensive book on crystals this excellent anywhere. It is filled with 100's of color plate illustrations. It explains all the different properties of each crystal and rock formations listed . A treasure of an encyclopedia of crystals!

This is a set of books that is amongst the best ever written easy to use No pictures in the Update there all in the Pictorial guides but there great for New and old expecially when used with pictures from other sources.

This book is a comprehensive guide to minerals. The only thing I don't like is that there are no pictures. But, I have 2 other books that help out in that department.
