It a verry real thing to understand when you combine the book and the movie together as one. both are a true look at ont life with there partner in todays wolrdand help shows way to repair the damage before the lovew boat sinks.

I know from the very beginning that I would love this book. I have a warm sense of peace that I feel just picking it up to start that days lesson. I believe that every couple should take this challenge even if their marriage has no problems, just take it to strengthen your love for each other but most of all the love you share for our Lord Jesus Christ even more. I first watched the movie Flywheel and it was the first movie that this church put out. It was very moving and was made with good christian morals, an excellent movie for a $20,000 filming budget! Then I watched Facing the Giants which was an even more moving movie that easily portrays the awesome miracles of God and how living a clean christian lifestyle of faith and prayer can make you truely blessed. Also done by the same church. Then I watched Fireproof and I can easily say I cried in joy and hapiness while watching each of the films when there were moving parts of the movie where God really came through when there was a need for a miracle. Fireproof was really great, It has a book in the movie that is called "The Love Dare". The leading male character in the movie uses the book, unwillingly at first, but later succumbs to the books values and daily devotions on how to repair, renew, and build a stronger more loving relationship or marriage in your live by following the books guidance and christain moral values. I myself am a christain and naturally I am predispositioned to love it and the effects that the book and living a godly life can have on all your relationships that you have with people. This movie it a winner for the soul. Either your softhearted and your heart will be moved and you'll share this movie with everyone and speak of it to everyong you know. Or your stubborn and you'll see firsthand that there is hope for everyone. It all starts with living as christain sanctified by Jesus Christ and allowing him to be your master. One of the best experiences i have had in my life was the giving of my heart to Jesus and being forgiven of my sins in his name and living my life still connected to Christ and go to church in the house of the Lord. All of this allowed me to keep my marriage which is stronger than ever. And allowed me to gain a loving church family. And I am meeting and keeping all my new friends that I have in Jesus Christ. I am so happy and I am truely blessed. I just love it when movies come out that I knopw are heaven sent. This one is one of those. So watch it and get The Love Dare book and let Jesus Christ into your life and let these materials have an effect on your life, and take joy in knowing that by walking the narrow path in faith and love of the Lord Jesus Christ in your daily life will keep you JOYFUL in the LORD.

I watched the movie, "FIREPROOF" never leave your partner behind. It is the best christian movie for married couples that I have ever seen!! The book love dare was a big part of the movie also. 40 days to understand and develop unconditional love for your spouse through Gods scripture. The spiritual change you go through is unbelievable. I would definately recommend it to anyone. You don't have to have a problem in your relationship to pick it up. It is something that is benefical to everyone to develop a better understanding

We saw the movie "Fireproof", then researched to see if this book was real or just part of the fable of the movie. It was real and here on ebay. The book is simple and although a "book" you sit down and read cover to cover and anticipate the ending, this is a 40 day journey and the ending is what you invest into the dares.

I really have enjoyed this book and recently purchased another for a friend of mine that is having real marriage problems and has two little girls. He took the dare - reluctanly - with the premise that if it didn't work in his marriage, at least he would be a "better man". About 15 days in, he professes that it has been "interesting" and he is enjoying the journey. I think you will too!

The book is biblically based and written to be used in today society. I bought the book for my sister and her husband. When I saw the movie based from this book I new that if it was truly written the way it was portrayed than great thing would come from it. From what I have read so far it is like the movie. I love how it builds on your relationship with God to help with your marriage. If you are married this is a book I would recommend.

This is by far the coolest and best book ever to help strengthen your relationship with your spouse! Our marriage is great already and since we started this book it has opened our eyes to things that we never noticed before on how to keep "chasing" after each other. Our relationship really has strengthened and we are so much more in love now than the day we got married!!! God truly does show up in our relationship especially when we decide to make Him a priority :) I would recommend this book to ANYONE who would like to gain knowledge on how to improve their relationships (who turns down great knowledge?) and am so glad this is available to everyone that is open to a little advice. This is a wonderfully blessed book. It has very good view points from a reliogious stance on how to improve your marriage. Thje message it shares is one that every couple should hear.
