Our family really enjoyed watching some of the "older" Herbie movies as they had a charm all their own. Our grandsons were caught up in the "new" Herbie movie, so I thought they would enjoy seeing how Herbie came to be years ago. It was a success as all age groups thoroughly enjoyed the actors---especially Buddy Hackett and Dean Jones. It was superb!!!

This is a very cute, clean movie from Disney. It is good for that very young 4-6 year old who likes cars. If you can't find anything other that Lightning McQueen, then this series is a good choice.

Top 5 Best Movies!!
) I Love this movie so much I had to buy it! I only own 5 dvd's and this is one of them. I can watch it over and over and over again and still laugh non stop! A must see if you haven't already.

The Love Bug DVDI bought this because I have a 65 VW Beetle which I have magnets to make it a Herbie. I wanted it so my grandaughter could watch it. she is 3. I really like the movie and remember it from many years ago.

I bought this for Family Movie Night at our local elementary school. It is one of the classic Disney movies. It was great for Family movie night because there is no bad language, adult situations, or inappropriate suggested material.

Great kids movie. Our 2 yr old grandson loves this. Started out watching Herbie Fully Loaded & he sat mesmerized through out so got him the entire set. Keeps him occupied for hours. Couldn't beat the price with this seller.

I grew up with this movie!!! I love Herbie!!! This is one of my all time favorite movies!!! It is about a VW Bug that comes to life and chooses its owner Dean Jones. He becomes a race car driver and starts winning all the races. It is a great family film and a Disney Classic!!! Great fun for everyone!!! Highly recommended!!!

'lakeside40' took the words right out of my mouth...!Thank you, with the new Herbie movie out it is nice to see a family who remembers the classic and confesses it over the web! This movie is what started it all and this special edition features the classic movie with a host of extras that more then match the expenses...
I know a few might argue that Dean Jones doesn't compare to Miss Lohan, and I am not going to admit they are right or wrong...what I DO KNOW is that Herbie didn't need to be animated or have the CGI treatment to have character! Also, Herbie did *not* need spoilers or the mod kits either. They are trying to do the "Fast and the Furious" treatment on him and this is my history, so I am a little anal on these small details (sorry Disney).
You've got to check out this flick, and if you do--you know you wanna--look for the scene where the girl is trapped in Herbie at a drive-in food stop. She sees some hippies adjacent to her and she taps on the glass and pleads "Get me out of here, I'm trapped"
And the hippie says, "we are ALL trapped here baby"
something to that extent, but the sneaky-cool thing here is that DEAN JONES PLAYS THE CAMEO HIPPIE...lol, remember you heard it from Josheous and no other :-)
