Anyone over 30 remembers watching this every Saturday Night. It is so enjoyable to settle in and watch the shows again with digital quality and not with the "rabbit ears" we all used to use. It amazing to see the guest stars the show had back then before the were big. I have seen Scott Baio as a 12 year old--John Ritter--Suzanne Summers--Kristi McNichol- and many many more. If you are 30 or over you need to own this and if you have kids they will love watching it with you. It has laughs that sand the test of time. Get it today. ) I loved this DVD so much I am purchasing season two today. Watching The Love Boat brings back such great childhood memories. The shows pack in an hour of commercial free clean humor. It's the next best thing to being on a cruise.

) I love the Love Boat Series itself. What I disapproved of is the fact that some one has broken the first season up into VOLUMES in an effort to make more money. You are paying for only 3 disks and maybe HALF of the first complete season. If that is what you are looking for - great this will satisfy you. If however you are a huge fan and demand the complete first season? This will leave you paying for the full season price, for half of what you expect and ultimately wanting more.

I love this dvd. Love Boat is one of my all time favorite shows and I hate they don't rerun it on tv anymore. It really brought back memories. This might be the closest I will ever get to going on a cruise. I loved the episodes that were on there. I liked the fact that it was 3 dvds in this set. My only dislikes is that all of the seasons were not available. I am definitely buying season two when it comes out and every season that they put on dvd. Hope it comes out soon

I remember watching The Love Boat when I was a kid and seeing the first season again has been a treat!
I like seeing the various guest stars - most of them are slate in their career or out of work - like Milton Berle, Florence Henderson, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Scott Baio. So you get to see them at a time in their life where they did not work much.
The main cast members are much sluttier then I remember.. The doctor and Julie seem to have a new love interest every episode....
I'm looking forward to the second season..

I Love this dvd set because I am a huge fan of the Love Boat!! I have already watched almost every episode more than once and my favorite episodes several times. I remember watching the Love Boat every Saturday night and probably missed 1 or 2 shows if that many.
The only disappointment about this dvd is there are not enough episodes on it. I really wish they had done a complete season.
I do love though and I am looking forward to the next set!

Gotta Love that Boat!I like and love everything about the love boat. It has inspired me to take cruises every year and I love cruising. I watched The Love boat also on Saturday Nights in the early eighties and they are still awesome episodes. I can't wait until the other volumes are released. I plan on getting all of them. There is actually NOTHING I dislike about The Love Boat. Two thumbs up!!!
