
Lotte Berk Method for Beginners - Basic Essentials
This isn't your typical exercise program. If you've never done Lotte Berk, start with this one before you try one of the other three, instruction is more complete and some of the moves aren't as intense -- better for someone new to the series of four.
Lotte Berk won't get you sweating, and routines are no more than 20 to 30 minutes, but you do feel the muscles while you're working them. Lotte Berk uses "concentrated movements and deep muscle conditioning" and lots of stretching to finish off. As the instructors say, "first you shape the muscle, then you stretch it. A stretch is not relaxation, it is elongation."
I haven't been consistent enough to see results yet, but I feel as though they're on the way. I definitely feel like I'm working my muscles.
