Lost: Via Domus (Playstation 3, 2008)

As a Lost fan, it was fun being able to explore the island. But that is about the best part of the game.

Gameplay is terrible. The storyline is fairly boring and actual Lost events randomly appear mostly in conversations. You have little interaction with the Losties. Limited areas to explorer. The main character controls are awkward. Most of the game is solving puzzles.

Overall I would say rent Via Domus if you want to explorer the island. The game can easily be beaten in one day even on your first time through. If you are expecting a fun and enjoyable game, look elsewhere.

It is a pretty good standard RPG. The games are pretty simple but there is a lot of suprising action along the way to get your heart pumping. The enviroment can get a little tricky to navigate. This makes it tricky to find your way and a pretty hard game. Each Quest is pretty similar to and episode of real Lost, there is a staring cinematic, then you have some challenge to start, go into a flashback, get information there and then complete the quest on the island. Then at the end there is a twist and the episode ends. The next episode starts with a recap. I just started playing the game yesterday and i am pretty excited to get back to it.

Plan and simple, this games sucks. The concept of the game has potential but playing the game is dreadful. I would not waste money on this game. Just keep watching the show and be happy!

A good game, that makes very good efforts to stay side by side, with the popularity of the TV series.
Everyone that liked the TV series of the game in question, will be very pleased with this gaming experience.

This game seems like it was put together in one week and thrown on the shelves. The story line does not follow the show and lacks any desire to continue playing.

As a fan of the show Lost, I was tempted to play this game. For starters I would only suggest this game if you are a fan of Lost as you would not understand the story much past the opening of the game. Some things I did enjoy about this game was the way they tried to make it feel like the show by dividing the game into 'episodes'. Puzzles were sometimes a little tricky, but nothing overly difficult. Beyond that nothing really stood out as fantastic game play. You mostly go around asking other "Losties (?)" trite questions; Kate somehow has a deep trust for you after one conversation; the handgun is essentially useless except for a few instances and trading for items becomes pointless after a while. Other things that didn't shine was the absence of voices of the real actors, and how the hell do you die from darkness?

I wanted to get the game because I love the show and wanted to see what it was like.I liked the gameplay and the story although I'm getting through the game pretty quickly.

Good game for people who likes the serie! It's fun to play as someone on the island and interact with de character from the television show!

I love the show but the game is a little too short for me. I wish they had more objectives to do. But overall ok.

I can not call myself an expert; for a ps3 starter only thing I can say; I really enjoyed playing it. Quests are easy to finish, everything is well built, definitely not time consuming... overall it is really easy to play... graphichs and sounds are perfect... one thing I wish, it hasn't finished that quick... looking forward to playing next season...

The graphics are stunning and if your are a fan of the show you will definitly enjoy this game. The game play is very interesting, not a long game but worth taking time out of your busy schedule to play, I give it an A-.

fun adventure game. would suggest if you're a fan of the show. otherwise it might not really be that interesting to you.

the game was cool since you interact with all the characters from the series.unfortunately it lacked in size of story mode,not too much excitement and was full of boring 'fuse puzzles'. i have to admit that as a fan of the series i really needed to feel a lot more of the plot of the movie instead of a simple flashback completion mode.

I'm a fan of the series so who really cares about how great the game play is, it is what it is another story in the LOST mythos. Be a geek not a dweeb its great fun.

I really felt like I was a part of the show, as a survivor on the island. It was a brand new perspective on the whole story. Even though it really only relates to seasons 1 & 2 of the show, it was an outstanding game. It definitely could be improved upon by adding to the story to lenghten the game. Great product overall, though!

It was a great game. Lot of action and adventures. Keeps you playing the whole game through. I didn't want to quit the game once I started playing. I am a fan of the show so I just had to buy the game. It was money well spent.

EXCELLENT GAME - Perfect for any "LOST" Series Lover! Graphics are superb and the adventures and challenges are LIMITLESS! This is the VERY FIRST game I purchased for my new PS3, and I don't think I will need to buy another game for quite some time. This one keeps me challenged and intrigued with new adventures around every turn. I have always enjoyed the more strategic games or puzzles instead of the shooting games, and this is the best one yet. I LOVE IT!! The characters from the "LOST" Series that interact seem so real, and they even sound just like the actual characters from the Show. The island adventures and challenges also follow the SERIES events closely, and perhaps even give some insight to the next season (I hope). Such a Mysterious Island Adventure!

I love the show.. Im not a fan of the game. Graphics are good.. navigating sucks.. game ends way too fast..

There isnt much interaction or drama between the characters. You dont even have to talk to Sawyer I dont think..

I wasted my money on this game. They took a game with loads of potential and butchered it in my opinion.

It's an ok game. Graphics are fair. Paddle is easy to learn. A good game when there's nothing else to do.

Graphic is excelent, the game is cool, but the game is too short. It is possible to finish it in just one day. I finished it in one week.

This game is not really what I expected, Dont get me wrong it is a alright game but not the best. The game looks good but the story really has nothing to do with the "Lost" story line, You are on the island and the other survivors are there but its just not the same and the voice overs for them are by other people who dont even sound like the cast from "Lost". I found the "puzzles" from the start are very confusing and the help button that is there for you to use is useless.
If you take your time some of the puzzles can be solved pretty easy, They are just confusing...And what ever you do! Dont get caught in the caves without a torch or lantern they get very confusing and you will find yourself right back where you started from.
But if your are a true "Lost" fan I think you can get into this game, All the "Lost" cast is there, The smoke monster is there, The "Others" are there along with all the hatches, What else can you ask for? Its just another "Lost" story line for you to follow.
